Hey would adding MoP with Conjure Phantasm/Nightmare and Phantom be good for a build like this?

With conjures your doing about 50 DPS
With out about 35
If you really want DPS w/o just playing warrior its ok i guess but tbh i go w/o conjure cause i get enchant removal and interrupts. Something you can do is just take nightmare and a interrupt with drain, you still get about 50 DPS cause i think 9 degen is the most you can take any way "not 100% sure on that but i know theres a degen cap" but its up 2 you.

HI. I R MONK WITH 55 HP AND 20 ARMOR. I LIKE TO SOLO DESTROYERS
In seriousness:
We have skills and inscriptions to combat the 60 armor. Heck, a mesmer can have as much armor as a paragon, if not, more, when used with correct equipment

Not a good argument to make in favor of the frontline Mesmer (in fact it even works against them), and here is why:
A Mesmer needs "the correct equipment" or buffs from skills to match what the more heavily armored professions have naturally. This means you must waste equipment and skill slots reaching that baseline to be somewhat effective or reliable. Which of course means that the class you are trying to match can chose any sort of equipment or skills they want and still be more effective than you are because they aren't limited as much. So, no matter what you do, you will almost always be outclassed, making you practically worthless for any sort of serious or competitive play.
And nothing that is so easily outclassed can ever be considered "good".

Meet Drain/Shatter/Rend/Rip/Assault Enchantment.

You still would contribute less to your party, with all that focus on raising armor.

if u wanna play iw mesmer.
- stop using spells/hexes. its wasted time where u cant hurt someone with iw
- stance slot is used by shiver or whatever english name of that ias skill is
- increase your armor [ use shield and hit the required attribute (tactics for example) use "unstoppable"
- use speedbuff "illusion of haste" its even a cover ench for your iw
- if u have energy left. use skills from tactics attribut like deadly reposte
